Olympus: Endgame (hereinafter referred to as the "Developer") will handle personal information of customers (hereinafter referred to as "Users") acquired by the Developer in the service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated and provided by the Developer in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy").

 

Before using this service, please read this policy in its entirety and agree to it. Minors must obtain the consent of their legal guardian before using this service.

When a user registers to use the Service, the developer will assume that the user has agreed to this policy, and in the case of minors, the developer will assume that the user has obtained consent from their legal guardian.

Unless otherwise specified, definitions in this policy shall be in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

 

1. Compliance with relevant laws , regulations, guidelines, etc.

Developers will comply with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, guidelines established by the Personal Information Protection Commission, and this Policy, and will handle personal information lawfully and appropriately.

 

2. User information to be acquired and acquisition method

In this Policy, "User Information" means information that can identify a specific user (including information that can be easily matched with other information and thereby used to identify a specific user; hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information"), behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in relation to users or their devices that is obtained by developers in relation to the Service.

The user information that developers obtain through this service will be as follows, depending on how it is obtained:

(1) Information provided directly by users

The information provided by users in order to use this service or through the use of this service includes the following:

- Profile information such as username (nickname), gender, etc.

- Email address and contact information

- Information required for identity verification, such as ID and password

- Information about payment methods such as credit card information and electronic money information

- Still image information including the user's portrait

- Information entered or sent by the user through input forms or other methods specified by the developer

- Other information related to the above

(2) Information provided by other services when the user allows the Service to be linked to those other services.

If, when using the Service, the User permits linkage with other services such as social networking services, the following information will be obtained from the relevant external service based on the consent given at the time of such permission.

- ID used by the user in the relevant external service

- Other information that the user has permitted to be disclosed to the partner through the privacy settings of the relevant external service

(3) Information automatically acquired by the Developer when the User uses the Service

Developers may collect information about access to and usage of the Service, including the following information:

- Information about devices, apps, and networks, such as cookies , ADID , IDFA, and other identifiers, referrers, device type, OS, language, app version, IP address, and carrier name

- Information about the usage status and behavioral history of this service, such as server access logs

- Other information related to the above

(4) Information that the Developer collects based on the User's individual consent when the User uses the Service

If the user individually consents in a manner specified by the developer, the developer will collect the following information from the device being used.

- Location information

 

3. Purpose of use of personal information

The developer will use personal information to accomplish the purposes set out below. If personal information is to be used beyond the scope of the purposes set out below, the developer will obtain prior consent from the individual in an appropriate manner. However, this does not apply if required by law.

(1) To provide, maintain, develop, improve and use the Service (including, but not limited to, accepting registrations for the Service, verifying identity, authenticating users, recording user settings, calculating usage fees, and identifying location information).

(2) Responding to inquiries , consultations , and complaints, and resolving disputes

(3) Bug fixes and updates for the Service

(4) Verification, confirmation and refund of payments made by users

(5) Marketing activities such as statistics, analysis, and surveys for the purpose of developing and improving our services

(6) Responding to violations of the Terms of Use of the Service and other rules established by the Developer, and investigating , detecting , and preventing other fraudulent use of the Service

(7) Provision of user information to third parties as specified in this policy

(8) To contact you as necessary, such as to provide important notices regarding the Service, and to send mail.

(9) Fulfilling developer obligations under applicable laws and regulations and responding to requests from government agencies

 

4. Restrictions based on purpose of use

The Developer will handle acquired personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, except in cases falling under items 1 to 7 below.

(1) When required by law

(2) When separate consent is obtained from the user.

(3) When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent.

(4) When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user himself/herself.

(5) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or a person commissioned by them to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent may impede the performance of such duties.

(6) In the event of a merger, company split, business transfer, or other reason, the Developer's business that handles personal information is succeeded.

(7) When providing the information to a third party as statistical information that does not identify individuals

 

5. Third party provision

The developer will not provide personal information from among the user information to third parties (including those outside Japan) without the user's prior consent, except in the following cases:

(1) When a Developer outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use

(2) When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to a merger or other reasons.

(3) When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user himself/herself.

(4) When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user himself/herself.

(5) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or a person commissioned by them to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent may impede the performance of such duties.

(6) When personal information is processed in a way that does not allow the identification of individual users, such as statistical data, and is disclosed or provided to a third party.

(7) When personal information of users of paid content is deposited with financial institutions, etc. for the purpose of charging usage fees to users of paid content.

(8) When required by the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations

 

6. Management of personal information

Developers will keep user information accurate and up-to-date, manage it appropriately and safely, and will endeavor to delete such user information without delay when it is no longer necessary to use it.

 

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

When a user requests disclosure of personal information pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act, the developer will disclose the information to the user without delay after confirming that the request came from the user themselves (if the personal information in question does not exist, the developer will notify the user). However, this does not apply if the developer is not obligated to disclose the information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations.

 

8. Correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of personal information

If the developer receives an inquiry from a user regarding the correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of personal information, the developer will respond appropriately in accordance with the provisions of the law.

 

9. Personal Information of Minors

The Developer will not knowingly collect, use, or share information about minors without the consent of their legal guardian. If a legal guardian confirms that a minor has provided information to the Developer, the minor may contact the Developer and request that the Developer delete the minor's information.

 

10. Revisions to this Policy

(1) The Developer may change the contents of this Policy at any time if the Developer deems it necessary. In such cases, the Developer will post a notice on the website or notify users through the content after the change.

(2) The revised Policy will take effect from the time it is posted on the website or notified to users through the content, and by continuing to use the Service after the Policy has been revised, users will be deemed to have agreed to the revised Policy. Users should check the latest Policy from time to time.
